Killer large abstract ceramic vessel by California artist, Michael Lopez, c1960s. Lopez was the ceramic Instructor at California College of Arts and Crafts, Oakland, California from 1965-1967. Then he was the Ceramics Instructor at Diablo Valley College, Pleasant Hill, California in 1970. Lopez is primarily known for non-functional ceramics that combine wheel thrown and hand building techniques.
