Beautiful raku vessel by listed California potter, Michael Lopez c1970s. Lopez (1937-2021) was the Ceramics Instructor at the California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland, California and after that was the Instructor at Diablo Valley College in Pleasant Hill. He also studied with Viola Frey. This piece was acquired from the artists estate.
